On Wednesday, September 24 (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM ET, Midtown Manhattan), the Global Electronics Council (GEC) and the Circular Electronics Partnership (CEP) will convene an exclusive, closed-door workshop: Decarbonizing ICT: Leadership Dialogue for Climate Action & Circularity.
With more than 75% of ICT product emissions occurring upstream in the supply chain, embodied carbon has become one of the most urgent challenges facing the electronics sector. This session will bring together manufacturers, sustainability leaders, and circularity experts to explore practical strategies for reducing emissions and accelerating progress.
Highlights of the agenda include:
- Embodied Carbon in Electronics: New tools and collaborative actions to track and reduce supply chain emissions
- Circularity & Carbon: CEP’s preview of its forthcoming Carbon Impact of Circular Electronics report, authored by The Carbon Trust
- Interactive dialogue: Identifying shared priorities and a roadmap to scale solutions across the value chain
Please note that this is an in-person event only. There will be no vital component. See the full agenda here.
