We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of the updated EPEAT Benefits Calculator, a web-based tool designed to help organizations measure the positive impact of their technology purchasing decisions. The EPEAT 2.0 Benefits Calculator is scheduled to launch in Q2 2026.
Once live, the calculator will enable purchasers of EPEAT 2.0 products to go beyond compliance and quantify the real-world of their procurement choices.
The EPEAT Benefits Calculator provides clear, data-driven insights into the outcomes of purchasing EPEAT registered products, including reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, energy savings, water conservation, and waste minimization. These results can support sustainability reporting, demonstrate progress toward climate goals, and highlight the tangible value of sustainable procurement.
In the interim, organizations that have purchased EPEAT 2.0 products may contact the Global Electronics Council (GEC) at info@gec.org to request support in calculating the sustainability benefits of their purchases.
