EPEAT® Ultra-Low Carbon Solar Criteria 4.1 and 4.2 require levels of verification that must be performed by different verification entities. EPEAT has developed a Verification Overview and Verification Entities document to assist Participating Manufacturers and CABs. This document is publicly available on the About EPEAT Page and is also available on the Resources page after logging into the EPEAT Registry.
When an alternative global warming potential contribution coefficient(s) is used, Designated Experts serve a unique role in the EPEAT verification process. Designated Experts must have a minimum set of qualifications and be approved by the EPEAT Program. The EPEAT Program has published a list of approved Designated Experts for the Ultra Low Carbon Solar Criteria. This list is publicly available on the About EPEAT Page and is also available on the Resources page after logging into the EPEAT Registry.
