GEC/NASPO Sustainable Procurement Training

The Global Electronics Council is proud to partner with the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) on developing joint online sustainable procurement training titled Introducing Sustainability in the Procurement Process. This free Procurement U course provides public procurement officers with both a basic understanding of sustainable procurement, as well as some best practices.

The online course is self-paced. You determine, when, where, and at what speed you complete this course.

GEC/ERA Sustainable Procurement Workshops

As a sustainability focused non-profit, GEC is committed to providing procurement and policy professionals with exceptional educational opportunities to support their engagement in sustainability. GEC has partnered with the Academy of European Law (ERA) located in Trier, Germany to offer an invite-only workshop that focuses on European public procurement law and how EU public procurement can be leveraged for sustainability. The course is comprised of seven modules, each led by an expert speaker; it includes the opportunity for group interactions and concludes with a simulation exercise. Participants receive 13 Continuing Personal Development (CPD) recognition for their participation.
