This year’s ceremony will be held virtually to encourage maximum participation from all GEC stakeholders! We’ll showcase leaders in healthcare, education, government, finance, and other industries as we celebrate the collective impacts institutional purchasers are making in global sustainability. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The EPEAT Purchaser Awards recognize excellence in the sustainable procurement of IT products. EPEAT Purchasers will be recognized for each product category in which they purchase EPEAT-registered IT products and all of the eligibility requirements have been met. EPEAT Purchaser Award applications are accepted year-round. Contact your vendor using this sample language for requesting EPEAT-specific reporting.
Os Prémios EPEAT para Compradores estão abertos a todas as organizações que adquirem produtos registados na EPEAT e cumprem os seguintes requisitos:
- Concordar em que a sua organização seja identificada como Comprador EPEAT, seja listada como tal no website do Global Electronics Council e concordar em partilhar o seu Cálculo de Benefícios mais actualizado no website do GEC. Ao submeter uma candidatura ao Prémio de Comprador EPEAT, concorda em que a sua organização seja identificada como Comprador EPEAT, seja listada como tal juntamente com o logótipo da sua organização no website do Conselho Global de Electrónica (GEC) e em permitir à GEC partilhar o seu Cálculo de Benefícios mais actualizado no website do GEC.
- Have, or be actively developing, an organizational purchasing policy for sustainable procurement. GEC recommends your organization have specific policy language or guidance for procurement of environmentally preferable or sustainable Information Technology (IT) products and/or electronics (see model policy language).
- Set specifications or use contracts (if applicable) that require or prefer EPEAT registered products (PC/Displays, Imaging Equipment, Mobile Phones, Servers, and Televisions) inclusive of applicable service contracts (see model contract language). Agree to share specific EPEAT vendor contract language (if applicable) as a best practice for other purchasers.
- Apresentar dados de compra de produtos registados na EPEAT ao Global Electronics Council para permitir a conclusão do Cálculo de Benefícios.
Nota: Ao submeter uma candidatura ao Prémio de Comprador EPEAT, concorda em ter a sua organização identificada como Comprador EPEAT, ser listada como tal juntamente com o logótipo da sua organização no website do Global Electronics Council (GEC) e permitir que a GEC partilhe o seu Cálculo de Benefícios mais actualizado no website do GEC.
